Our Import Process

Our import process works in simplest way possible, all you do is sit back and we do all the work for you.

We will import a vehicle on behalf of our customer whether it is 15 years old or a new model covered by the RAWS regulations. We source vehicles from the best auction houses, dealer stock and private sales in Japan, USA & UK.

To summarise the process, we import your chosen vehicle, freight it, perform any necessary compliance works and have it delivered to you at the standard you require i.e. be it in on the road with registration, delivered to you ready for registration with all inspections complete or leave all the registration and inspection works to you after delivery if that is your preference.

 You will be furnished with copies of all charges, bills and any relevant paperwork in relation to your import transaction i.e. bank transfer receipts, freight bills, customs invoices etc.

Before any vehicle purchase is made, we firmly establish a price range (budget) and forward you a quote sheet for you to agree to. Once you are satisfied with all the details pertaining to the quote sheet, we then get started on the import process.

Upon this agreement, we will require an upfront payment of $1,500 (this is deducted from total price of vehicle). This initial deposit is non refundable, If you change your mind and do not want to buy a vehicle from us, but if you change your mind on the vehicle specification then you do not lose your deposit – we will then search for another vehicle for you.

This payment initiates the sourcing of your requested vehicle and the arrangement of its purchase. This “bond” serves to maintain a minimum quality level with respect to our customers and to ensure we provide the highest level of service to them.

If we bid for your vehicle and do not win the auction then you do not lose your deposit, we will keep trying to find another vehicle for you with no extra costs. We can lose bidding several times without any costs involved.

Total payment under this system, is then split over a few stages:

1)     We search for your specified car and send you auction reports and minimum two pictures of the vehicle.

2)     You agree on the vehicle choice, we then bid for the vehicle.

3)     We win the auction then you pay 75% of the vehicle price.(we need these funds 24hours after we win auction)

4)     We organise deregistration and ship the vehicle to Port Kembla.

5)     It takes around 4 weeks to ship depending on freight schedule, once the vehicle arrives at the port, we then organise all customs, quarantine, steam cleaning and compliance, this takes a futher 2 weeks.

6)     We then tow the vehicle to your garage. The whole process takes about 6-7 weeks.

This import process gives you the best chance to acquire a vehicle below normal market rates or even to profit on its subsequent sale.
